A structured, confidential process to find the right buyer, create competitive tension, and negotiate terms that reflect what you have built.
A grounded view of what your company is worth today and the factors that would move that number before a sale.
An honest look at whether the timing, financials, and team are ready for a buyer's diligence, and what to address first.
Support for acquirers and owners who need disciplined analysis on a specific transaction or strategic question.
We advise owners across the United States, with a particular focus on Appalachia: Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, and neighboring states. These are the companies that anchor their communities and too often get overlooked by larger firms.
Our engagements typically involve transaction values of $5 million to $100 million. We are generalists at heart. We are most at home in industrials and manufacturing, logistics, recycling, polymers, fabrication and rigging, and insurance, and we bring growing experience to service-based businesses and SaaS companies.
Our story. Five Talents was born from an owner's own experience. When our founder, Steve Keck, and his wife considered selling their 100-employee industrial recycling operation, he found very few places to turn for experienced advisory help. After much prayer and research, he founded Five Talents in 2009 to meet that need.
Our name comes from the Parable of the Talents, where faithful servants were trusted to steward and grow what was placed in their care. We bring that same sense of stewardship to every engagement: careful preparation, honest counsel, and a process that honors the people and legacy behind the business.
Our team has advised owners and acquirers on sell-side, buy-side, valuation, and advisory engagements across industrial, retail, insurance, healthcare equipment, and service businesses. Client details are kept confidential, and we are glad to discuss relevant experience in a first conversation. See selected transactions.
